Manini Roy

Manini Roy is an experienced Product Manager with a demonstrated history of working on complex projects in successful enterprises such as Microsoft and AMD. Today, she is driving the company's efforts to promote Google’s mission to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
Manini began her professional career as a Project Manager for High-Performance Graphics at AMD, where she was mainly responsible for several high-end graphics card projects, including the fastest graphics card in the world at that time (which was also the first-ever dual-processor card).
During her lucrative career that spanned over 7 years, Manini has contributed to many Product Management roles across the domains of Computer Software and Semiconductors. Prior to her current position, she led end-to-end design and execution of new feature development at Microsoft. One of Manini’s achievements included owning the strategy around getting rid of passwords from Microsoft and introducing alternative authentication methods.
Manini is a strong Program and Project Management professional who earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master's degree in Engineering both from the University of Toronto and additionally a Master's certificate in User-Centered Design from the University of Washington. Her extensive work experience makes Manini an incredibly powerful and inspiring world-class speaker.
