Lisa Kamm
SVP of Product, The New York Times
Lisa Kamm is a leader in product management with expertise in the development of large-scale technology solutions for major companies such as Google, American Express, and JP Morgan Chase. She is currently SVP of Product, Core Platforms at the New York Times where she is driving technology innovation and growth.
During her 12 years at Google, Lisa held a variety of positions. She started off managing User Experience, and then serving as the User Experience Lead for Google’s advertising products. She moved from UX to Product Management where she drove company-wide initiatives on mobile and intranet search, before focusing on security and identity issues.
Lisa balances business and technology needs and drives effective solutions. Her work as a platform product manager has led to a deep focus on making tradeoffs between short-term needs and long-term strategic goals. Lisa has a strong educational background with a BA from Oberlin, a JD from NYU, and an MSLIS from the University of Illinois.
