Former CPO, TikTok/Byte Dance
Hans is working to improve the world of commerce, community, and content with the help of technology. He was the Chief Product Officer at Flipagram for two years, leading product management, design, analytics, community management, content strategy, and talent development before they were acquired by ByteDance (now TikTok). After the acquisition, he continued his role as CPO for the growing app.
Before that, he was a Senior Director of Product Management at Yahoo. He built and launched Yahoo Live, Yahoo Originals, and their collection of video player products. He moved into this position after PTCH, the company he co-founded, was acquired by them.
Hans attended the University of California where he earned his Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. He went on to advance his education by earning an MBA in Finance and Business of Entertainment at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
Hans truly brings out the best of his team by allowing them to get in touch with their creative side and supporting their growth. He has incredibly sharp technical skills and is able to think strategically at all levels while aligning interests across the board for successful collaboration.
