Chino Wong

Chino Wong is currently the VP of Design at Medium, and also serves as the Head of the Product Organization, overseeing Product Management, Data Science, User Services, and Trust & Safety, in addition to Product Design and Research. With over two decades of experience, Chino has helped to build exceptional teams and products for both large and small technology companies, as well as global advertising agencies.

Before joining Medium, Chino led the User Experience organization at Braze, where he scaled the design and research practices prior to the company’s IPO in 2021. Chino has a classical design education, having earned his BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA in Film, Video, and Computer Animation from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
