Akshay Goel

Akshay is a fantastic Product leader and entrepreneur with a great business sense. Currently, he is a Product Lead at Facebook. Akshay is responsible for Facebook Ads' and the mission is to make meaningful connections between people and businesses by using machine learning to make every impression meaningful. He has held many positions in Product across various companies. Prior to Facebook, Akshay was the Head of Product at Standard Cognition, Advisor of Product at Carnegie Mellon University, and Head of Product Innovation at Tata Group. His entrepreneurial mindset led him to Co-Found his own ventures such as Explorer, an AI-powered platform to build, update, and serve maps for autonomous vehicles. Akshay also Co-Founded Kreate Labs, a company that provided instant checkout for 3d printing via a network.  Akshay is always hustling to deliver a big impact, but most importantly he can find and bring together amazing teams to deliver amazing products. According to his colleague, he is deeply empathetic in the workplace and cares about his team members and works hard to make sure that they are happy, productive, and cohesive.
