Adebowale Asaya

Adebowale Asaya is a Sr. Product Lead at Amazon and has over thirteen years of enterprise-level experience focused on procurement, supply chain, and the general management functional areas, spanning across automotive, financial services, biotechnology, and technology industries. Adebowale currently serves as a product leader, focused on developing software-based products to enhance the buying experience for internal stakeholders. Additionally, Adebowale cares deeply about African prosperity, and mentorship.

Adebowale was a founding member of the innovative Africa Research Team incubator, working on retail solutions for untapped African markets. He is passionate about mentorship and fostering pathways for young, emerging leaders. To this end, Adebowale founded RAMazon, a partnership initiative to engage WSSU students with the skills needed to be competitive in the ever-changing technology industry. Additionally, he has led and developed pitch competitions at Howard University to cultivate and provide resources for budding entrepreneurs.

Adebowale's commitment to developing Sub-Saharan Africa, the fastest-growing and most youthful region globally, extends to his roles as an angel investor at Hoaq and a limited partner (LP) at Future Africa, where he invests not only financially, but also his time and effort with startup founders.
